Who is responsible
Ascension Trading (“Provider”) is responsible for the information described here. Privacy questions or requests may be sent to AscensionLLC@proton.me.
Information collected
Provider may collect:
- identity and contact information, including name, email, Discord username, and time zone;
- application and fit-check information, including trading experience, goals, strategy, challenges, availability, readiness, and consent records;
- enrollment records, status, support notes, scheduling details, and payment confirmation;
- messages, charts, trade recaps, feedback, and other content a Student chooses to share;
- basic technical and security information provided by the hosting service, such as request, device, browser, and diagnostic data; and
- transaction information provided by Stripe or Whop. Provider does not receive or store a complete card number through this site.
How information is used
Information is used to assess program fit, respond to applicants, administer enrollment, provide education and support, manage Discord access, schedule sessions, maintain records, prevent fraud and misuse, improve the program, and comply with legal obligations. Application consent does not enroll a person in promotional marketing. Marketing messages will be sent only where separately permitted or consented to, and may be opted out of.
How information is shared
Provider may share information only as reasonably needed with service providers that support the program, such as site hosting and database providers, Stripe, Whop, Discord, TradingView, Calendly, and email providers; with professional advisers; to comply with law or protect safety and rights; or in connection with a legitimate business transfer. Provider does not sell personal information. Stripe and Whop process payment details under their respective privacy terms. Discord, TradingView, and Calendly apply their own terms to use of their services.
Retention
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for application review, service delivery, support, security, dispute handling, tax and accounting records, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of record. Information may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to required recordkeeping and backups.
Security
Provider uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the size and nature of the program. No internet transmission, platform, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Students should not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, brokerage credentials, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information through Discord, email, or application fields.
Choices and requests
A person may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their information by emailing AscensionLLC@proton.me. Provider may need to verify the requester and may retain information where required for transactions, security, disputes, accounting, or law. Depending on location, additional privacy rights may apply.
Age and location
The program and application are intended only for people age 18 or older. Provider does not knowingly collect applications from children. Information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where the listed service providers operate.
Updates
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the program, tools, or legal requirements. The effective date above will change when the policy is revised. Material changes affecting current Students will be communicated through a reasonable channel.
